Identify Your Property’s Zoning

Identifying your property’s zoning through VicPlan is an essential first step in any building or renovation project.

Your zoning and any planning overlays can affect what you’re allowed to build, whether permits are required, and design factors like setbacks, height limits, and site coverage. Checking these details early helps you understand any constraints, avoid costly surprises, and move forward with confidence.
